Expertise
With over 40 years experience in the accounting
profession, Al Cordell has successfully served
a variety of clients in a multitude of fields.
His accounting and consulting emphasis on not-for-profit
and public organizations has allowed him to lend
his expertise to several local industries ranging
from public land trusts to family owned agriculture
ventures and trust development. You will often
find him taking the optimistic role as consultant
in some of the most challenging local arenas.
Al’s
dedication to his client’s welfare is a
standard to which all accounting professionals
strive. His solid background and sincere dedication
to Cordell, Neher & Company, PLLC is representative
of his work with his clients and team members.
He positions himself as counselor to his clients
and a welcome mentor to the CNC team members.
Although Al has reduced his hours some the past
few years, he remains just as committed and busy
as ever.
Community
As a man of strong community spirit, Al has been
involved in Wenatchee Valley organizations for
several decades. Serving as Past President of
the Wenatchee Lion’s Club, he continues
to devote efforts to this worthwhile organization.
He was a former Chairman of the Board for the
Central Washington Hospital and continued in service
for more than 15 years. Still active in the Wenatchee
Applarians, he serves as a Past Chancellor.
Al
is a devoted family man and enjoys long weekends
with his wife, Millie, at their cabin on Lake
Chelan and never misses an opportunity to watch
his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Credentials
Al received his B.A. in Business Administration
from Washington State College in 1959. He was
issued his Certified Public Accountant’s
license in 1960 and has been a member of the Washington
State Society for Certified Public Accountants
and the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants since.
