Expertise
There is no doubt, for those who know him, Jeff
Neher is the zenith of excellence in accounting
consultive services. Well known in the community
for providing expert advice in a multitude of
areas, he has spent over 30 years developing specialized
expertise in tax planning for closely held corporations,
companies, partnerships and individuals, litigation
support, business valuation, retirement and financial
planning. Always willing to take on a challenge,
Jeff assists the community with his amazing depth
and knowledge of tax law each week on the local
‘Tax Tip’ radio show.
Joining
Cordell, Neher & Company, PLLC in 1988 when
his firm, Ringler, Neher & Blakney merged
with Cordell and Conner, Jeff has been Managing
Principal for the last six years. With his leadership,
the Team at CNC has developed into a company committed
to 5 Star Service, internally and externally.
His clients will confirm his devoted personal
attention to their needs, no matter how small
or large the project.
Community
Being a Wenatchee native, there is no individual
more committed to the promotion of the Valley,
it’s culture and arts. Throughout his adult
life, Jeff has had a strong presence in many community
organizations. Having served as the past Director
General of the Washington State Apple Blossom
Festival, he continues to sit on the Board and
actively participates in the planning of each
year’s annual events. He is a past President
of the Wenatchee Central Lions club with continued
service. Jeff also serves as council member to
the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 2 and amongst
his various other community commitments, he has
served as past President of the Grace Lutheran
Church.
Jeff’s
joy in life and his happiness is infectious. He
has a dynamic personality that lights up any social
gathering and his addiction to chocolate is famous.
His family ties remain strong with the support
of his wife, Bev, and their three grown children,
parents and siblings.
Credentials
In 1976, Jeff graduated cum laude from Pacific
Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington with
a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
He furthered his education by participating in
Golden Gate University Graduate School of Taxation
in 1981 and 1982. In 2003, Jeff attained his financial
advisor Series 7, Series 66 and Washington State
Insurance Licenses.
His
long association with the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants has included membership
in the Tax Division and past member of the Professional
Liability Insurance Plan Committee. Jeff served
as past President of the Wenatchee chapter of
the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants
with continued membership. He is an associate
member of the American Bar Association and a member
of the Estate Planning Council of North Central
Washington. |
