Accountant
Dean spent 25 years in the aerospace industry, living in Seattle, WA until becoming an independent consultant for the Morel Industries relocation project in 1993/94 after which he accepted a permanent position with Morel Industries. He has been involved in senior management for a variety of companies in the Greater Wenatchee Area, including Pacific Aerospace, US Castings and Cashmere Manufacturing. He also taught machining skills to students at the NCW Skills Center. Dean re-entered college and graduated from Central Washington University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance, with a minor in Economics. In 2008 he joined Cordell, Neher & Company, PLLC and is preparing for the examinations required to become a Certified Public Accountant. Dean and his wife, Lisa, have enjoyed raising their two children in the family-friendly environment of Wenatchee. Since moving to Wenatchee, he has reluctantly retired from competitive sailboat racing, having been across the Pacific Ocean twice, but has replaced that passion with photography and family activities. He also does graphic and web site design for a variety of organizations in the Wenatchee area.
