Walt Roland, CPA, CFP CNC Financial Group Director of Financial Services

Walt Roland grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps before attending college. Walt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Linfield College in 1982 and a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University in 1986. He became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1989 and has a broad background in public accounting. In 2000 Walt took on a dual role as a CPA and financial advisor. He earned his securities licenses, Series 7, 63 and 66 in 2000 and his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2003. While Walt no longer is involved in the accounting industry his many years of tax experience complement his role as a complete financial planner. On a personal note, Walt and his family lived in Klamath Falls, Oregon from 1990 to 2007 where the motto was “give back to you community”. Walt gave back notably by being on the Board of various non-profit organizations and being an active member and advisor to the local search and rescue organization.
