Melanie Garza

Melanie Garza joined CNC in December 2025, bringing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Central Washington University. She helps business owners and individuals navigate the ever-changing world of taxation, building strong tax strategies across industries ranging from estate and trust to construction, real estate, and mining. Melanie especially enjoys mentoring early-career staff as mentorship played a big role in her own early-career success. She's glad to leave the door open for those coming up behind her.

Melanie grew up in Yakima and trained as a concert pianist through college, once performing in a collegiate music festival in Germany and Austria. These days, her ideal Saturday starts at the farmers market and ends with friends over for dinner and a board game. She and her fiancé, Taylor, share their home with two dogs, Poppy and Ares.
